Skiing 2012

First day of School

It came. The time has come when all of the girls are in school all day. I count it as a sad day because I miss them and enjoy having them home with me. I'm also super proud that they are each so wonderful and in their own ways growing up in to such beautiful talented young girls. I have to admit I have cried everyday this week and instead of posting the day they went to school I have put it off. It has taken me 4 days to emotional be ready to post it. I'm pathetic. I just hate to see the time in life that I have little kids home with me go a way! I loved that time in life and now it is over. Jason was awesome. He took the day off work to console me. We walked the girls to school went to the gym together watched a movie went to lunch with the girls and he took me to orange leaf. Every time a friend would call I would cry talking about it so he stoped answering the phone. He is the best! To my delight Livi is loving first grade and doing great! She adores her teacher and has lots of cute friends in her class. CC has her best friend in her class and a very nice teacher too! Kenna and Erika are loving 6th grade! I have been to the gym everyday and  have a day once a week for my hair appointments and a day set aside for the temple. I have some projects in the works I'm excited about doing. I like the lunch dates with friends that keep me having fun in the day. I love my life past and present and remind myself they are only a walk down the street and they love it when I come have lunch with them:) Here are  some pictures of the first day of school. Yes Jason and I stalked livi just to make sure she was okay. The pictures of her in the lunch line and on the play ground were taken in secret.

Erika got her braces

Erika got her braces on just before school started this year. She looks great! All the girls had fun helping put them on. Now Erika and Kenna both have braces! It will be fun to see how her teeth change. We took a mini photo shoot before she got them on in her favorite new school outfit. Erika is so beautiful.

CC and horses

CC loves horses she has always loved them and wanted to ride them. We took her when she was only 3 years old on a horseback ride in Canada. Often when she was little we took her to Thanksgiving point to ride the ponies. She has had pony birthday parties and had a horse come to the backyard to give all the kids rides

Lovin the Liv

I took some pictures of Livi today. The older girls have a 3 hr dance class in the morning this week and I'm enjoying some extra one on one time with her. It's her last summer before she goes to school all day and I'm enjoying her to the maxx. I love her so much it makes me just want to hug her all day long!!!! I took some of her before church on sunday too. She is just so fun and cute to photograph. We went on a bike ride this morning too. We read some books and she wrote her letters. She was extra happy I let her eat two bowls of coco puffs because she was so sad her box of lucky charms was all gone. She carried around bangle our cat for awhile talking to her and I watched her and listened just enjoying her being around me. Seriously, I love her. She remindes me of the things that are important when your 5.

Happy Fourth of July

We love our country! We celebrated with a parade, swimming to cool off, yummy food, a movie, friends and fireworks! I'm so thankful for the freedoms we enjoy here in the states.

Livi seriously waved at every single person in the parade except the Star Wars float guys. Thats when she got nervous and came over to sit with me for a minute.

We skipped the traffic and walked to Seven Peaks from the parade. The water park was dead a perfect holiday surprise.
